Silas Cordell
Quick update: we have confirmed prize support from both Wyrd and the Warstore, who always makes a strong showing at Templecon. I don't have details of what the support will be yet, but there will be prizes!
Fastenhate
Really looking forward to this. Thanks for running the events Silas and Inquisitor Walls! Inquisitor Wall
I'm really excited about an increased Malifaux presence at templecon this year. The con just seems to keep growing, and is a perfect environment for Malifaux.
PeregrineFalcon
@Silas and @InquisitorWall, How are strategies being decided for each round? What are the painting/proxy rules? Trying to figure out if I'll have enough time to finish painting my models.
Silas Cordell
For the event I'm running, that being the Saturday Tournament, painting is not required, but proxies are not allowed. All strategies will be shared, and selected from the new Gaining Grounds document.
Inquisitor Wall
For the story encounters on Friday it will be one of the previous holiday story encounters developed by wyrd in the past. Painting is not required, and proxies are not allowed.

Inquisitor Wall
There should certainly be some people around on Saturday to run some demos, or play some pick up games. For the Malifaux zombie event you can either use your own crew or one of ours. Crews are small 7SS. Goal is to kill as many zombies as possible in the time frame. Silas Cordell
iWall sounds like a new Apple product... I've selected the strategies for the Saturday tournament. Round 1: Treasure Hunt Round 2: Beatdown Round 3: Line in the Sand I'd also like to add that while painting is not required, I do have a certificate for best painted, so it is worth something. Inquisitor Wall
Bags are packed, table tops are loaded in the truck, everything is set for tomorrow. Looking forward to a great weekend of Malifaux.
Inquisitor Wall
I hope everyone had a great time. I had a great time running the story scenarios and watching people fight the Carver. Thanks for running a great tournament on Saturday. It was really great to meet some new people and others I hadn't seen since last year. CloudFang
Dropped by for a quick second... good to meet ya silas.... tables were much better than what i saw last year... was a little bummed no one was kickin around lookin for pick up games... me and my buds were gonna play, but ran into the law.... (also known as we got kicked out for not havin badges) haha.... oh well, hopefully next year will be bigger... although warmahordes has that con wrapped up... so seems like not too many malifaux players? anyway the games i observed for the little while i was there looked pretty good... hope everyone had a good time. ---------- Post added at 07:27 AM ---------- Previous post was at 07:26 AM ---------- also? no zombie malifaux on saturday? thought that would of been cool.. PeregrineFalcon
There were quite a few people who were playing pick-up games through the day both Sat and Sunday. Not sure how you missed them. Not having a pass is just silly, why didn't you just go buy one and find games to play. So many tables and tons of people with Malifaux stuff. Silas Cordell
PP does have the con pretty well wrapped up, but it's a Steampunk con. Malifaux can (and will) find a place there.
CloudFang
wow... guess i missed emm all... i got in and asked the henchman at the tourney if anyone was around looking for pick-up games and he said no... so i waited around at the tables for a bit and chatted with some friends saw no one was there playing.. my bad.. maybe it was going on somewhere else but i figured no meant no... the tourney looked like a ton of fun though.. as for silly not havin a badge... yea.. absolutely.. but..... ive gone to t-con for like the last 4 years for the weekend and this time around i only had the day... we couldnt get there early enough for the tourney and after hearing there was no one there for pick up games we decided to just leave instead of payin $30 to stand around for another half hour and leave... just didnt work out this year and it would not have been worth the cash... i do wish i could afford to support the cause but without doing anything we decided it wasnt the thing to do... next year the plan is full weekend again, hopefully.
