Goopy
Hello all, Yesterday, me and my girlfriend picked up puppet wars having little to no knowledge about the game. To be honest we did not even know that we were going to have to paint the little guys. I've noticed that there are two different versions of the rules. I want to use what ever rules are more in depth which it looks like are the old ones. Is there any way to merge the two, to use the fixes of the new version but the complexity of the old? We are just on game 3 of the tutorial and loving it. Any tips on how to paint these little guys would be appreciated. Thanks for your help! xKoBiEx
Use the new rules with the old stat cards if that is what you are looking for. Some of the new rule changes are "cleaner." The old stat cards are more in depth.
Omenbringer
I would say that the two rule sets dont really mesh well together (as there are a number of things in the old rules which no longer exist). Further the "New" rules aren't complete yet so, you may find yourself learning, then re-learning things over and over until they are finalized. Having played both versions I much prefer the Older set's subtle complexity.
