D_acolyte
How does armor and spirit work together? Next, bite of winter with armor ignoring round. Because the bite of winter is extra damage if they do not have armor and armor ignoring rounds ignore the armor on the model, so does bite of winter grant the extra damage? 0 D_acolyte
spirit does not count as armor. The spirit armor question is a question of order, dose armor happen first or spirit on the emberling? It is a spirit with armor so how armor and spirit work together? Not whether spirit counts as armor. ---------- Post added at 08:28 PM ---------- Previous post was at 08:26 PM ---------- Basically do I half and then subtract one damage or do I subtract and then half? 0 Ratty
Spirits Demystified Damage Spirits take half damage from non-magical sources. Magical sources include Spells that inflict direct damage and Weapons with the Magical Characteristic, but don't include Spells that increase the damage on a mundane Weapon (eg. Samual Hopkins’ Flaming Bullets adds 2 to the damage from his gun, but won't make it cause Magical damage.) If a model has both Spirit and Armor. Carry out the damage reduction in arithmetic order, so half the damage for the Spirit and then lower it by the Armor. For example, a Spirit model with Armor +1 suffers 4 damage. First, Spirit halves the damage from 4 to 2, then Armor reduces it by 1 more to a total of 1 damage.
0 Adran
The armour piecing rounds don't remove the models armour, they just don't get reduced by the armour, so the model still has armour as far as bite of winter is concerned. The only thing that removes armour is the spell from the large Steampunk arachnid At least thast how we always play it.
