Dual faction models do not lose the characteristics of either faction just because they're "declared" as one or the other. Mr. Lynch always has the Neverborn immunity to Black Blood or Aetheric Demands, even if he is running as 10T, and Mei Feng always counts as having the Arcanist characteristic, even running as 10T.
