We've had a lot of newer players come to us this spring, so I will be running an escalation Paint-and-Play to help players get games in and encourage painting. Games will be Held on Thursday evenings at the Compleat Strategist. Format is as follows: League Participants will play games at four different sizes - 15SS, 20SS, 24SS and 28SS. You MUST play a smaller point game BEFORE you move up to a larger size - however, you can always go back and play smaller points game against any player. Strategies are to be flipped from the Expanded SHARED encounter list. Standard deployment for all games with terrain determined by the players - feel free to flip for terrain and game events from the manual as you please. After your games, simply post the results in this thread INCLUDING both players Schemes and any newly-painted models played for the first time. League Scoring will be done by differential, with your BEST score counted for each size game. Each Scheme may only be counted ONCE in your score total. You may take a scheme as often as you want, but it will only be added to your total differential once, so if you take Bodyguard in all four of your top scoring games, in total you would only net +2, not +8. You must play at least FOUR different players before you play the same player again. I will be posting a leader board in this thread so you can keep tabs on your Schemes. The league will begin in June and will run until our 30SS tournament in July - which by the end you should have a fully painted crew for! ;) $5 entry fee Prizes are as follows: 1st - Malifaux Box 2nd - Malifaux Blister Honorable Mention - complete the league with the lowest differential total - Special Secret Prize! Bonus-Super-Fun-Time Rules: If your crew is fully painted - that means all parts of the model, including the base are complete, including some effort to highlight and shade, pick out details, etc. your crews total Soul Stones in the game is increased by 1. The FIRST time you play a newly painted model - it may draw a card to see what bonus it gleans from it's shiny new paint job. You can't save the ability for the following week, it must be used for the FIRST game used. Be sure to add your newly painted models and what ability they flipped to your score reports!
