gretster
Hi all, hope this finds you well! Normally I just post pictures of my completed crew but this time I'm going try and update as I go along! My goal is to complete this crew in a week! Started last night so that gives me until Sat 12th May. At that point I'll have to hit the books again before my exams! I've chosen "Hoff" as it closes out the Guild for me having already got and painted LJ, Sonnia, Ortegas and even Lucius! First off bases: This is the completed base for the peacekeeper: And now the completed PK: Hope you like them, comment (good and bad) welcome as always. Cheers, Gavin. Euclid (#ScottishMeta)
First of all, those bases are wonderful. The painting is awesome too, I like the little details such as the 18 on his shoulder.
Oathborne
Nicely done. Those bases will make the entire crew really have some character. Good work so far, can't wait to see the rest.
Evilbleachman
Really awesome and fitting bases! Please post more! Can't wait to see more of the crew.

gretster
Hi all, thanks for the comments! Just a breif update. Didn't get much done yesterday but did get to see the Avengers Assemble! The Hulk - he smash! Tried to concentrate on the bases and most of the metallics: And here's what I've been up to this morning, some WIP watchers: Hope you like! Balefirestorm
Those look really good. You've managed to create a great over all theme with the bases and color of the models. When painting the Hunter you don't need to do much though. Just put a small Decepticon symbol somewhere on it
Hugor
These are looking really good, I especially like the color choices on the Peace Keeper, Looks like you should be able to meet your deadline if you keep up this pace. Good luck on the rest of the painting and the exams.
gretster
Hi all, another update with the fruits of today's labour! Managed to complete both watchers: Also, here's a wip for the "Hoff": More soon (I hope!) Cheers, Gavin.
Demonn Agram
I love your yellows! great looking crew! on a side note - how is the watcher connected to the 40k lamp? (I mean, you pinned it obviously, but where? it can't be seen on the pics...)
gretster
Hi there, another update, completed Hoffman and toolkit: @deamonn angram, here how the watcher was attached: Got a few hours in this afternoon and concentrated on base colours, so here's some wip of whats left: Cheers, Gavin. Evilbleachman
Which yellow paint did you use for these models?
gretster
Hi all, @Evilbleachman, the yellow is GW Foundation Iyanden Darksun. I haven't a clue what it's called since the range was re-branded, sorry? Well I'm still plugging away and hope to finish this gang on time! Here's the latest, completed Hunter: Cheers, Gavin. Demonn Agram
seeing this I had an idea: add some black stripes on hte yellow parts, and it'll look like a mechanical tiger... (don't expect you to, though:) )
gretster
Got another update! And finally, the only other Guild construct that I own - Hoffs big brother Ryle: That's it for this crew now until the warden comes out. I may also pick up the mechanical attendant too at some point. Back to the books now! I think Seamus or Kiria next. Cheers, Gavin.
Oathborne
yep, bases really did set them off. I like the common yellow color theme. Very nice, indeed
Evilbleachman
Indeed. The yellow is amazing. Do tell us (or more me Hahaha) how you achieved that crisp and clean yellow!
Lord Shaper
Very nicely done! Also I'm with you waiting on the Wardens!
Doppelbock
The lamp base for the Watcher is brilliant, I love it!
Sholto
Love this crew - yellow is such a rare colour on the tabletop. The bases are excellent as well, and it is fun playing "spot the bitz"
gretster
Hi guys, thanks for the continued feeback, much appreciated. @Sholto, if you like playing spot the bits, check theses out:1_Happy_Puppet2: I knew there was something missing - scrap counters! Knocked these up quickly using the same bits and method for the bases. Hope you like them. Took me about two hours from start to finish, so I was well pleased. Cheers, Gavin.
