CannonFodder
Does Intimidating have any impact on a models (ht2) that was Harmless, but has done an action that causes it to lose harmless. Example: Ronin after they made an attack. Also does this apply to a Ronin that is harmless as it is starting a run through action on a Gunsmith? 0 CannonFodder
Wow... have I really found a question that has left people speechless. And everyone has absolutely no opinion on.
0 Sholto
I don't have any Gunsmith cards handy - what is the wording of the rule? My first thought would be that the Ronin only loses Harmless after it has taken an Action other than Pass or Walk, meaning that since the Charge has not yet been resolved, Harmless has not yet been lost. 0 CRC
Intimidating: This model is Terrifying->12 to Ht 1, Insignificant, Harmless, and Pitiful models. Harmless ends when this model performs an Action other than the (1) Walk or (1) Pass Action. I'd guess that the model is still Harmless, so is still subject to Intimidating, it's just that it no longer has any effect.
0 Hateful Darkblack
Once Harmless is gone, it's gone, and Intimidating gives no bonus.
0 Buhallin
I'd agree with Ted. Once a model takes an action, it actually loses Harmless - it's not just there but inactive. This is supported by the various abilities that allow a model to "regain" Harmless. The timing is an interesting question. I can't think of any firm definition that we have on what it actually means to "perform" an action, so that may have to wait for an RM. 0 Oscilioth
As per the timing rules I would think it would go something like this: Ronin activates while still Harmless, Ronin uses Run Through, this requires Harmless to be lost, as per timing, Run Through is paused and the next effect, Harmless, is resolved. Harmless is lost, Ronin continues to use Run Through, the intimidating model no longer has any effect over the Ronin. I believe however this would be different if Run Through actually made you perform a Charge and not just Push the Charge distance, because Charging a Terrifying model activates its effect, then we'd have to figure out which technically activates first, Harmless removing itself or Terrifying causing a Duel.
