Da Big Baws
I'm handicapped, so my brother paints my stuff. The green/yellow is OSL. The mini is for a contest with the theme of "mechanical marvels". http://www.beastsofwar.com/rama/greenskins-minirama-contest-oct-2011/hoffman/
DavidKerrSmith
I like it. I've never been brave enough for OSL. I've painted my little brother's Warmachine army, not because he's handicapped, just useless with a paintbrush. /salute to your awesome brother. LonelyPath
Nice paint job. I'm to timid to attempt OSL myself. LIke you I'm disabled (prefer that to handicapped), but thankfully can still hold a paint brush (though can't use a pen/pencil since I can't make sideways movements anymore) and I think I'd go mad(der) if I didn't have at least 1 art-based creative outlet. Candi
Great looking mini! Side question: What is OSL?
diehard
Great looking mini! Side question: What is OSL? Off Source Lighting. That is, using paints or inks to give the effect of illumination from a distinct light source upon select parts of the miniature (the green glow on parts of this model.) A very impressive technique if done well. Edit: Forgot to say, really nice job there on Hoffman. Cool model and paint job, thanks for sharing. Edited January 21, 2012 by diehard Incompleteness.
