Nicodem + Ashen Core?

Is there ever a reason a Ressurectionist player would want to run Ashen Core? Or, more likely, Ashen Core + 4 Steampunk Abominations. Has anyone done so to good effect?

You cant just take the core. You have to take the whole ashes and dust model and then kill it to get the core.

Might you mean "Ashes And Dust" or the "Desolation Engine"?

As said earlier you cannot take the Core alone.

they're not bad models per say, I dont think they're particularly advantageous over in faction models though. Telling someone youre playing ressers and showing up with essentially an super tough to hit, very accurate levi crew could really catch an opponent off guard I think though. Could be a value tool for your toolbox if you can make it work

CB9 3/4/6 on a model with fast is pretty nice. and having it at df7 is pretty choice too

abominations at cb 5 df 6

desolation engines at cb 8 paired. (df 4)

it could work, maybe bring a couple of dogs for the A&D to sac for aoe healing

I meant Ashes and Dust, not the Ashen Core.

And yeah, the general list would be A&D+Abominations*4+2 Rotten Bells. Maybe swap a Belle for 2 Desperate Mercenaries, maybe drop one for soulstones. Unless someone can think of something better... Nurse?

Ash and nurse can be a lot of fun but not the most efective thing in the world.
