I mean, I have a pretty respectable variety of Outcasts to choose from: Bishop, Johann, Taelor, Misaki, Convict Gunslinger, and Ronin. I've even picked up an extra blister of Friekorpsmenn for larger scraps and brawls. (I also have Levi's box, but Alyce can't go without a scavenger master.) I've read the tactica, but really can't decide who to run with him. Taelor's pretty awesome, but the Convict Gunslinger packs a pretty mean punch, too. Help? BlueStar86 Posted October 21, 2011 Report Share Posted October 21, 2011 My list tends to look like this: Viks 9 Von Schill 7 Librarian 5 Ronin If fighting Arcanists, and I need to move a lot because of the mission, I tend to bring Taelor. If I don't need to move I bring a specialist and the Viks Avatar. If fighting Guild I bring Freikorpsmenn. If fighting Resurrectionists I bring a Trapper. The obvious solutions to this are The ViKtorias Taelor Misaki Johan The Viks are effectively 13 stones when added to Von Schill (his cost of 9 and reserve of 4). And typically I would rate the 2 Viks as better than Johan and Tealor together in everything except survivability If when you play Vonschill you don't want 2 magical melee dealers of death, then the other choices are cheaper. If you do want 2 then they typically work out as the best value. It also allows you a higher soulstone cache at the start of the game. Buck Dog Posted October 21, 2011 Report Share Posted October 21, 2011 One of my favourite lists is : Von Schill Taelor Johann Hamelin Trapper Librarian It's got decent melee including magic weapons, good range, some magical trickery and can take a punch too. It's one of my favourite all-comers lists - the only thing to watch out for is that some of Von Schills abilities are "Freikorpp only" and not "Friendly", which I always seem to forget, with hilarious consequences :/ Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
