HopelessHeretic
An interesting situation arose in a game the other day and I just want to confirm that I have the ruling correctly. Stitched Together activates Spider Swarm Paralyzes Stitched and kills it with the overwhelm trigger Does not die goes off leaving the Stitched in play Stitched gains reactivate as part of does not die Can the stitched be "killed" again to grant it reactivate? I ruled it as no since I remember a thread http://wyrd-games.net/forum/showthread.php?t=21036 that stated models gain do not reactivate after the reactive. -Heretic

0 marshimartian
Rules Manual, p34: "A model may only activate a second time through Reactivate once per turn." That's true, but it's also been said that reactivate cancels out paralyzed like fast cancels slow, the stitched hasn't activated a second time, only canceled paralyze with reactivate, I think a second instance of reactivate would allow a second activation, just like a second instance of fast gives a slowed model 3AP
0 Issalbotproto
a model may only receive reactive once if i recall correctly.
0 Headcase2
A model can only reactivate once, but it can receive reactivate several times. The first reactivate would cancel paralyzed, the second would grant an extra activation.
0 Tograth
it would already be affected by Does Not Die. models cannot benefit from multiple copies of the same ability unless specified in the abilities rules.
0 Mr. Bigglesworth
Tograth has it. It is more a mute point unless the stitched gets reactivate from a source other then does not die.

Each and every time the Stitched Together is killed, Does Not Die triggers.

0 Mr_Smigs
Incorrect. Does Not Die is not a lingering effect. Each and every time the Stitched Together is killed, Does Not Die triggers. It's not a lingering effect? what about the part that says it has to be sacrificed at the closing?

Question

An interesting situation arose in a game the other day and I just want to confirm that I have the ruling correctly.
Stitched Together activates
Spider Swarm Paralyzes Stitched and kills it with the overwhelm trigger
Does not die goes off leaving the Stitched in play
Stitched gains reactivate as part of does not die
Can the stitched be "killed" again to grant it reactivate?
I ruled it as no since I remember a thread http://wyrd-games.net/forum/showthread.php?t=21036 that stated models gain do not reactivate after the reactive.
