Mr_Smigs Posted September 5, 2011 Author Report Share Posted September 5, 2011 jeans are: very light blue base (a cut between Spacewolves Grey and Ice/Frostbite Blue) then washed with Asuran Blue (or however the blue wash is spelled) the one all the way on the right got 2 washes, a base wash, then some detail washing (just the dark places) finally, i return with the light blue for the edges, and where the light hit the hardest i use a half white/blue for just a tiny effect alot of the stuff i've been painting lately is light base colors, darkened with washes... i find it gets better transitions and more natural highlights than i could do with drybrushing...
