Hi, I'm a weird west lover in southern Oregon.... I travel to Eugene regularly but I would love to find or develop a malifaux community in southern Oregon....

I worked in the Privateer Press packing and casting dept and will say sadlty that with the speed needed for packing especially on initial wave pressure is high so these things happen. I also was the metal quality assurance guy so I looked at lots of parts and still I will say in a box of 1000 a couple bad ones will slip through... As a caster I would say that looks like mold shift and if I saw that I would chuck it but again when you are under gime pressure these things happen. I have not had problems with Wyrd product yet but seems customer service is great so if your unhappy give them a go... a company that cares stands by the product and I find that replacements are given when people are unhappy...

Finished the fourth of my morgue bases and began the fifth... they are mostly tile the last two with drains and the last has a funnel running to the drain respectively for a flesh construct, sebastian, nurse a belle and McMourning...can not wait.for the avatar....... paint to be started tomorrow....

Working on the first three morgue bases for my McMourning crew....laying down a layer of green stuff and making tiles for the base... will be using them for my flesh construct, sebastian and my one nurse (the ofher will be made into a belle holding a magnum of wine or shine or somesuch.... can not find my mini usb cable to transfer pics so they will have to wait....

I recently finished Gemma Files A Book of Tongues... Honestly it is a great weird western read. I have to throw out a warning it is one that may offend some... if same sex encounters would throw you Id say it may nit be for you. Now if you have an open mind and like the show Deadwood, clive barker-esque gore this may be your thing. Gemma has pulled in a lot of mayan mythos, blood sacrifice and imagry of gore and torture. It is not a book for kids really with all its swearing and such... guess the Deadwood comparison is pretty apt. Anyway I mentionit here since I think that the weird fantasy themes of Book of Tongues would fit in well with the dark themes if Malifaux. The action and hexslinging in the novel is fast paced and rather brutal... also the fact the the main players take a tryp to hell it kind of fits the themes of the game.... Anyway it is a great, twisted action novel....

First I have to say thay seeint the avatar has pretty much sold me on lady Justice ... guess that is more miney spent.... Got a question how do you like the gorilla super glue.... my last bottle of zapagap is dead and i need a new adhesive... That is one fine model...

The minis look good and I'm ever happy to say these look really great....

Hell yeah they do... check out the DonQuiote and Rosinante and all the Saracins models....amazing range or models...

How do you find resin to paint on... years ago I got some forgeworld stuff and even after a bath the resin stil resisted taking the primer and i eventually quit trying... Im thinking about getting Seamus and would like to know before I order one... also so you know I use brush on primers...

For mindless zombies i thve been thinking about using Damned Regulars from the helldorado range... there is a husky guy with an ore a thin one with a nail studded stick and a woman(best mini of the three) and they come on the same stule of bases... Look on cipher studio website in the shop for helldorado demon miniatures.. Sorry using my nook colour to surf and it seems to be unable to cut and paste...

Hey for your first minis They are better then my work and Ive been painting on and off since 1990

Can not wait for my Kirai now.... it will be a month or more till I get her but I have much to look forward to...

Hey just got a thought... would anyone be interested in a alternate version of the malifaux characters... ie a early 1900s our world version of someone like Nicodem... or Seamus.... Just a thought...
