Malifauxcurr
I'm planning on making some 3D terrain pieces to serve as impassable terrain, and am looking for ideas. I've already bought some 1 inch hex bases to build on, and some tiny thread spools, and pin cushions, but I'm looking for other items/set pieces one might find where good puppets go to war. Thoughts? powersoxette
You could make a stuffing "fog" and velcro traps (because if I were a puppet I wouldn't want to be anywhere near velcro)...
Ratty
I'm thinking if you have an excess of round plastic shields it would be easy to make some little thread reels. one shield either end, so plastic tubing. spray, drybrush up, glue one end of a thread onto the tubing then wrap to make them. Serigala
I have a vision of puppets battling it out amidst other toys. Letter bricks, or a toy train stretching across 3 or 4 hexes.
rainborg
yea the child playroom theme for puppet wars for the win hey you could take a look at some of the toy story movies to get some ideas also! :dreamer :daydream

karn987
Yeah Toy Story is a good inspiration for terrain. Maybe take it to a darker level, like Sid's room. But I have plans on making a custom board for myself and doing 3rd terrain for it. So I'm also looking at doing pieces that would be more then 1 hex wide. It's common to have the 2 hex long and some times the 3 hex long sections of ITT's which could be fun. Because I kept saying it at Gencon, I want to make one of those 2 hex long pieces half a Gremlin, like the torso down and have bite marks at the top but that will mostly be hand sculpted or maybe start with an old warhammer giant and work from there. Otherwise, a little bit of Balsa Wood and dowels/tooth picks can lead to a lot. Thinking of making maybe some pots and pans, a big Rock, heck maybe even one of Zoraida's unmenchonables. Though I love the idea of Velcro XD
Malifauxcurr
This is all sounding great! I like where this is heading!
powersoxette
I just saw the Orphanage accessories on the main store, those look like they'd be perfect! With the added fun of not having to sculpt new stuff.
JHaygood
I was thinking a stack of books, thimbles, thread bobbins, spools, rocks. But I do like the idea of other toys...
Omenbringer
Have you seen the ones that Ratty has put together, they are very nice (now just to convince him to mass produce them).
