Rhaksha
Does anyone have a suggestion for a Blessed of December model proxy. Hopefully one that will be easily recognisable as a were-woman.
Math Mathonwy
Does anyone have a suggestion for a Blessed of December model proxy. Hopefully one that will be easily recognisable as a were-woman. I have a pretty sizable knowledge of minis but I don't have the book 3 yet, so any description? Rhaksha
Oops, sorry. She's taller than average but still Ht2, has long legs angled twice like a wolf with sharp claws. Long arms ending in long clawed fingers. She's got an impressive mane of hair, a snub beast-like muzzle and pointed ears. Someone described her as Wendigo's wife (from Marvel comics) Oh and she appears to be naked apart from strategic fur.
CaptainTrouser
it doesn't have the muzzle, but other than that one of the GW dark elf harpies without wings might work nicely.
Devon_v
If I had to convert one, I'd take this body: http://www.reapermini.com/OnlineStore/female%20werewolf/sku-down/02863 cut the head off, and get this mini: http://www.reapermini.com/OnlineStore/Reven%20female/sku-down/14195#detail/14195_mg cut the head off, put in on the first, and greenstuff the mane. That's the closest to the illustration that I can find.
the imp
Reaper has two poses for their weretigress. It's not perfect, but I don't think it would take much work to get it there.
Math Mathonwy
Would this one work? Just replace the weapons with clawed hands: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Female-Werewolf-Tracker-Reaper-Miniatures-14617-/250864394380?_trksid=p4340.m263&_trkparms=algo%3DSIC%26its%3DI%252BC%26itu%3DUCI%252BIA%252BUA%252BFICS%252BUFI%26otn%3D15%26pmod%3D250875939840%26ps%3D63%26clkid%3D2372650627046820590#ht_1889wt_1163 For a more beastly look, this one might work (though I suppose it's a male): http://shop.dwarftales.com/index.php?products=product&prod_id=
edonil
If you can find them...the Wolfen Vestals from Confrontation Rackham might make a decent proxy for the time being.
CubertFarnsworth
If you can find them...the Wolfen Vestals from Confrontation Rackham might make a decent proxy for the time being. yeah I was just looking at those myself......to much of a snout IMO
edonil
(shrug) Personally, I'm just looking for a model to use until the Wyrd one comes out. I'm willing to bet we'll see her in December...
Rhaksha
All great suggestions and I'll look into them. They are all rather short though. I was hoping for a model about 40 or 50mm tall. And lithe as well, I hope this isn't too much to ask.
edonil
Eh. I'm not sure you'll be able to swing that. Which is annoying, because I want to get a Blessed sometime soon myself. But generally those kinds of models tend to be heroes from various companies, and I don't know of anyone who has a 'were' something that'll fit your bill as a hero. Which is quite sad. At the same time, I'm still eagerly awaiting the Blessed of December from Wyrd themselves.
the imp
Is it supposed to be that big? You could probably convert Reaper's Queen of the Jungle into something suitable. It's reasonably priced through their parts department too.
Rhaksha
Yeah, she's on a 40mm base so I'm looking at her being about as tall as a flesh Golem. I'm liking Reaper werewolves though. However I'm more anxious than ever for the Wyrd miniature to come out.
