Stern
Dear lord, the first monochrome one. I very much like that one! Really like the black back. Must agree with the pair of you
xGIxJOKERx
I agree also. Knocked it out of the park on the first go. Have you thought about getting a bunch printed and then selling them on ebay or etsy? If they were printed on plastic-type cards I would gladly pay at least $15 for a deck, before shipping. Buhallin
Oh yeah, love the back!
Darg
Really nice work on the first black back. Goes really well with the fronts and looks brilliant.
Xander
I tried to make a version that was mirrored so it has no up or down. It's not perfect, but it's pretty good.
Ratty
I have no issue with there being up and down on the back.. I think it's a bit wierd to have mirrored cracks.
Xander
I reduced the contrast on the paper so it wasn't so drastic. It looks a bit older and dustier now. I also updated the jokers:
demkoenig
I don't think the Red Joker needs the 4 there. If anything, you could just add one more red spot.
Ratty
I have to agree. if it's a choice between the nicer Bleeding Cowboy J and having the 14, I would go with the original style. Also I know it's meant to be a 14.. but to anyone that is just looking at the deck it looks like a J with a 4 next to it in blood. I would just go for a 4th dot on the top right corner. Xander
I will likely keep this font. I don't want to have the Bleeding Cowboy font; it doesn't suit the rest of the deck. Might add the 4th blood mark, and drop the 4, hrm... Comments about the purple stain on the O for zero?

The balance just looks a bit off for the Joker word.. the J hasn't got enough Weight to offset it against the suit symbol on every other card.. If you are going to keep it I would suggest finishing the black border as there is now a gap for no reason.
demkoenig
I thought it was nice, clever, and subtle. Honestly dude, I want one of these decks. Especially if you can make it on the Puppet Deck card stock.
Buhallin
Might add the 4th blood mark, and drop the 4, hrm... Comments about the purple stain on the O for zero? I didn't even notice the zero But agree with the consensus. I saw the new joker, and my first thought was "You sank my battleship!!"
Xander
I guess the bleeding cowboy does look pretty nice, hrm... EDIT: Edited September 23, 2011 by Xander
Geckilian
Comparing the two, I prefer the 4-blot Joker rather than the 4. It matches the Black Joker and fits in nicely with the other cards without the oddly shaped 4 blood mark. As for the mirrored back, either way is fine with me, but non-mirrored looks slightly more natural.
Xander
4 dots it is. Yeah, card back sounds like it will come down to personal preference. The trouble with trying to make a mirrored card back is that even the slightest error (and I can already see some) means that it may be even easier to cheat, since the person who owns the deck will be able to study and notice tiny differences, but his enemy may not notice them from across the table. If there is a definite upwards side, it should be much more obvious that the user of the deck is trying to cheat.
Xander
For those who haven't read through the whole thread and have been asking about how I am printing them, this is where I am printing them: http://www.printerstudio.com/personalized/custom-playing-cards-gifts.html I have designed the cards to match their card size and bleed amount. I may order a sample deck sometime soon and see how they are. EDIT: I've ordered my sample deck! Yay! Now we play the waiting game.
