Mbbelius
Hi all, Thought I would post my current wip - Malifaux building, going to be an undertakers with a chapel of rest next door to it. Cheers
Rhaksha
Very, very nice. And in keeping with the theme of Malifaux. Are you going to decorate it with coffins?
CrimsonWraith
I like it! I can't tell from the picture, but is the texture on the side opposite just the foam, or did you put something on it to get that? And if so, what?
Mbbelius
Cheers all. I have made it out of foam and then covered the sides with a strong cardboard and yes there will be coffins

Silent Jet
I think this has a lot of fabulous potential! Based on your painting skill that I've seen I can't wait to see the finished product!
Mbbelius
Just a quick update, managed to finish the "building part" of this project. Now just need to seal the whole thing and then paint. Anyone got any painting tips for getting a ancient wood look?? Cheers all.
Regnak
Looking good. I'd say water down some Devlan Mud wash and put that on the wood... although test on a spare bit of wood first to see if you like it... I don't want to be responsible for ruining such a nice bit of terrain!
nightseer
Good job on that building! You could try my method for painting wood: - white basecoat - VMC German Cam. Medium Brown - Drybrush with VMC German Cam. Pale Brown - Light drybrush with VMC Iraqui Sand - Wash with Devlan Mud That's how it looks: You can check out my log for more pics of wood painted with this method.
