hendybadger
Hi all, I am new to Mailfaux and starting off with the Dreamer/LCB. I know its not the easiest Master to start with but the look of the models and they name drew me in and my mind was made up. So far I have Dreamer/LCB 2 Stitched Together Copellius 3 Daydreams Teddy So, What advice do you have for someone thats new to the game and the Dreamer? Thanks in advance
ChefsDad
Thats practically the 35ss list i started with. Read Karns tactica and pullmyfinger wiki. The tactica in particular was fantastic. Quick tip: read the master's cards thoroughly until its stuck in your head, and protect your daydreams.
hendybadger
Been going through the Tactica and its seems VERY helpful
karn987
Been going through the Tactica and its seems VERY helpful Glad to hear it! That is what I wrote it for after all =) Any way, if you have any specific questions please don't be afraid to ask. Probably the hardest part of playing the Dreamer is getting used to the Bury and Unbury mechanics and when to make greatest use of them and when to retreat. But that comes from experience mainly, though when I get time the Wiki article on the Dreamer will go into great detail on this.
hendybadger
Im sure I will have more questions the more I use them
Boom
I've just bought The Dreamer box today; Tactica's open in the background as I type Is there still a compulsory community-administered punishment beating for buying more than 2 or 3 Alps as a follow-up purchase? Allidor
From what I've seen, people aren't as scared of or as easily killed by an Alp bomb any more. It's still seen as a cheese tactic though Edited June 15, 2011 by Allidor

hendybadger
A related question, Is the Nightmare LCB any different in game from the normal one? Or is it just an alternative model?
WookieeGunner
It is just an alternative model. From what I recall it even comes with the normal LCB card, they didn't even make a seperate card for it (like they have with other models such as Miss Pack). Ratty
No they did make cards for the Nightmare LCB, though they have the same rules. You can actually order the cards from the store.. they are very cool.
