Mako
It's that bad? Heh, I like a bit of a purge now and then, clear out the stuff you didn't even really know you had.
SteamHammer
Morning all. It's a bad time when games and miniatures have to be sold off. But sometimes it is needed to clear out things that you'll never play again.

SteamHammer
Thankfully he is in New Zealand so the postage should put anything out of my temptation range of spending money. I really need to save some.

edonil
Tired, lol. And sick of what I'm working on. Beyond that, not too bad. ---------- Post added at 04:45 AM ---------- Previous post was at 04:45 AM ---------- How's your week going?
SteamHammer
Not great so far due to the weather. Really strong winds so constant risk of power outages and harder to get to sleep. But so far no damage to the house so it could be worse.
edonil
No damage is good! Yeah, where my house is out we get a lot of high wind gusts, been there before, it's not a lot of fun.
SteamHammer
The end is in sight at least. After today it should be nice and calm (for a couple of days) http://www.xcweather.co.uk/forecast/stornoway Need to get some painting done but didn't want to risk the lights going out half way through it last night. And archery tonight.
edonil
That should be fun. What's on the painting table? More Dreadball?
SteamHammer
Either the Dreadball Orx team or maybe a Malifaux model to have a break. I'm basically just painting the dreadball ones to an OK level to begin with to get them done quickly. I might go back afterwards and enhance them. edonil
Nice. How many teams did you have to paint?
osoi
Thankfully he is in New Zealand so the postage should put anything out of my temptation range of spending money. I really need to save some. Problem is I'm in Australia so really not that far away. I'm halway through sorting a purge myself but not sure if I will go through with it
SteamHammer
Only done one so far so three teams and all the special characters left to go.
edonil
I did a purge a few years ago...luckily, haven't just refilled it, lol. Still got some room before I need to think about doing another one. Which team did you start with for painting, Steam?
SteamHammer
Human corporation team. Seemed easiest. I was wrong. So many armoured plates to paint. I too had purged my gaming stuff a few years ago. I was down to a small box with left overs of different GW systems that hadn't sold on eBay. Here I am two or three years later with hundreds of models again. I am nerd, hear me roar.
edonil
Ha! Amen to that. At least it's not a lot of GW stuff this time around, eh? lol Oh, so I got a draft of the map for my novel...interested in taking a look? I'd post it here, but discovered earlier that the forum has a cap on file sizes.
SteamHammer
Sure, PM me a link to it. I always like maps to refer to even if it's just for a rough idea. Kingdom X is west of Empire Y etc.
edonil
My friend who drew the map is definitely aiming for above and beyond that...seeing the draft left me in awe, lol. Also shock, cause of all the names I need to develop now. :Paralyzed_Puppet:
SteamHammer
Countries and capitals would do at the start. Don't need every hamlet and river named.
edonil
Yeah, that's where I'm starting. Countries, continents, capitals and major cities important to the plot. Oh, and you've got mail. *grin* ---------- Post added at 05:58 AM ---------- Previous post was at 05:39 AM ---------- Tonight needs to hurry up and end... >.>
