edonil
there's that problem too. The return market in Europe on GW might be pretty good, but it's terrible this side of the pond. A well painted 40k army might manage to get back the price of the models.
Evilbleachman
Heh. I got a load of Dark Eldar to sell though. About 2000 + points in models and inbuilt ones as well. >_<
Mister Shine
I built a flying circus. No models on the ground, everyone is flying! weeeeeee ---------- Post added at 02:29 AM ---------- Previous post was at 02:28 AM ---------- 30 Hellions 2 (The smaller plane) 1 Voidraven 2 Raiders 2 Venoms With The Duke and The Baron. edonil
Heh, nice. That's a pretty fun build, there. I just avoided it because every dark eldar player was doing it... part of the reason why I refuse to fill up the 500 point deficit in my Chaos army with Plague Marines, flyers or havocs. ttsgosadow
Trying to sell my Black Templars atm. Have reposted them to Ebay after the first unsuccesfull sale. i ask less then 50% of new value. I don't feel the market for second hand warhammer is that good here. WarmaHordes stuff seems to sell more reliable.
edonil
...welp. Then I guess it's that Games Workshop stuff has a terrible post-market resale value. Good to know!
Evilbleachman
If I am lucky I will get a few hundred Euro for my army. I spent a lot of cash on bases for the models as well... Though in my case, any cash is better than none. It is sitting in my apartment, taking up room and wasting away. Someone would be better off with it than I would. Mister Shine
I got about 700 for my pile of 40k Chaos stuff. Also I found some tzeentch demons, but I kinda like them so I guess they can stay?
Mako
Resell on GW stuff is shocking, 50% of purchase is a good achievement. Unless they're top end display painted by golden demon winners, in which case some people pay a fortune and others complain that it costs more than the boxes would from the store... edonil
Some of the Tzeentch demons are pretty neat...if they ever bother to update the Lord of Change and it looks good, might grab one to paint...but I suspect that'll be many years, and GW will have brought the price to $100 a Greater Demon. Mako
Ok, mould is done. Question is, do I go to work and pour it now, or leave it til tomorrow? I think we all know the answer to that one, despite me being tired...

Interesting, I had heard rumour that historical was better for that so maybe thes something to it! And probably less deranged starting prices for the stuff... ---------- Post added at 08:46 AM ---------- Previous post was at 08:44 AM ---------- I can't face sleep! Mako
No wait, you're probably right. Getting it done for Sunday isn't gonna happen now, so I may as well ease off and not worry about it til tomorrow. I'll get a drink and relax for a few before sleeping!
