Evilbleachman
Ah cool. Chocobo can be my mount. All of those performances, really make me tired.
edonil
Where's the option for Rodent Meglomaniac? I dunno...talk to Mack. Although you could be an overseer where your followers are rats? That could be fun! lol.
Mako
Heh, between us and our characters, Ed's going to have one massive task to get us from one room to the next in one piece, never mind actually achieving anything!
edonil
Heh, between us and our characters, Ed's going to have one massive task to get us from one room to the next in one piece, never mind actually achieving anything! Oh, I have my ways...I'm going to be tracking down the podcasts I listened to while I was planning my Star Wars campaign. Best thing about listening to the Order 66 podcasts on GMing- they apply to more than Star Wars.
Mako
So I shouldn't let anyone in stormtrooper armour get behind me then?
edonil
Probably not a good plan, no, lol. Or in front of you, likely that's how you'd get the ricochet that hits you!
Evilbleachman
Is anyone going to build up their character from the sprues just for funsies?

Mako
Heh, it's like I've got the blind man's iron but set in reverse! Wait a second, do we reckon there's a chance I can find or make a blind man's iron? ---------- Post added at 06:02 AM ---------- Previous post was at 06:02 AM ---------- Aha, it's like they planned for it! You gonna flip for it then monkey?
Mister Monkey
Sounds like a plan to me Mako.... start at the top one to thirteen.... red joker Ed decides, black joker Mako decides..... How does that sound?
Mako
Sounds like a laugh! Probably best not to flip the black joker though *wink* ---------- Post added at 06:23 AM ---------- Previous post was at 06:07 AM ---------- Phew, nearly finished shaping the upper arms of the harpy. Once I sort out the arms it's on to the wings...
edonil
What in the world is a blind man's iron? And I know I intend to use my kits to make a whole bunch of NPCs...
Mister Shine
Eh we'll be dropping in and out of pursuits all the time anyway, characterization is most important at this point i think
edonil
How about Monkey flips every session?
Mister Monkey
I would be the most random person in the world.... a youngster who has no idea what they want to do with their life.....

edonil
Hey, if you want to do it, I won't stop you. It sounds like an interesting concept for a character to me.
Mako
Sounds pretty sweet and pretty funny. The blind man's iron is in the Storm of shadows story about the gunslingers that are all show and no skill. It's the gun that makes your opponent see things so they don't shoot at you. edonil
Oh! Did I not finish reading the Storm of Shadows fluff... O.o Hm. You know, I think Elle might be up for writing some more Malifaux fiction sometime soon...not the Quill stuff this round, but just in general. Work on fleshing out some NPCs that you guys might interact with, that kind of thing.
Mako
Page 141, second to last story in the book. Had a bit of the inspiration for my character in it too lol. ---------- Post added at 06:43 AM ---------- Previous post was at 06:42 AM ---------- Sounds good that you've got her on side. That mean you'll be taking a break from the novel then?
edonil
I dunno. We'll see. I'd rather not, personally. But I might go to working on things in cycles. Work on the novel once a week, work on an NPC short story or two a week.
Mako
That makes sense, gets you variation without actually letting the novel stall.
