They made 4.0 more like a board game and didn't focus too much on RP, imo. Though our group played it more RP focused than battle focused. I really need to get the board in my basement finished and start playing there...a friend and I are talking about doing a two player Dropzone Commander campaign at the end of the year, and it'd be nice to be able to get that all settled.
