Saracenar
Hey, I just got a blister of Crooked Men and I'm having trouble putting one of them together. Specifically the one with the sledgehammer. The hands and the arms and the little groove in his chest don't line up at all. Even if I bend the hammer on an angle it is still a poor fit. I was just wondering if anyone else had this problem and if there is anything I can do about it. Thanks guys.
derv
This seems to be normal. You can either bend the handle into a U shape between his hands, or cut the handle at the edge of a hand and shorten it before gluing back together. Dark Alleycat
I greenstuffed a handle for it. Its unfortunate because the crooked men are really useful, and only one model is really paintable without a great amount of cursing.
Q'iq'el
I've bent my handle. It is supposed to be bent I think - after all these guys are victims of collapsed shafts and lots of rocks tumbling on their heads, right?
JMGraham
Same issue here. The sledgehammer shaft needs to be bent "just so" to get it to fit properly.
twenty4seven
I was having this same problem yesterday! I also bent the handle into a bit of a U shape. But I also found that (when the model is facing you) twisting the right hand towards yourself slightly made it fit to the flattened connecting area much easier. Kaane Feinwong
I took some pliers and adjusted and rotated the arms till they fit. Then I had a problem with them staying glued, so had to put a small pin in it. Touched it up with some putty. Saracenar
Thanks for the replies, guys. I ended up bending the hammer a bit and adding a little bit of greenstuff to the arm. Looks fine now.
AvatarForm
I despise minis that require GS or pinning due to poor casting...
