Mergoth
Could anyone suggest an alternative model that would make a good Lelu? I want to try quintuplets for the win.

Mergoth
Not bad. A bit on the gigantic side though!
Chucklemonkey
I too have been keeping my eye out for an alternate Lelu, and Lilitu to be fair, and have found it surprisingly difficult to find anything suitable. This is about the closest I have come but it still doesn't do it for me. http://www.keepwargaming.co.uk/index.asp?function=PRODUCTIMAGEWINDOW&closedelay=20000&SRC=http://www.keepwargaming.co.uk/ekmps/shops/keepwargaming/images/reaper-miniatures-25mm-demon-sergeant-14067-829-p.jpg
Ratty
what's wrong with the world? when I put Gimp Miniature into a search engine the first couple of pages are all work safe. I'm sure someone must have done a buff miniature of a gimp which you could just add horns to the head of.

Once, after hearing the world championships were to be held in Manchester, I did a quick search for more information on the sport of dwarf tossing. That was a mistake I will never forget. zKoTTe
The model is not that bad, it's only the pose thats retarded, but with a little modification you can get this zKoTTe/Morten
Mergoth
@zKoTTe. I know. I have one painted and reposed. I'm just greedy and want two! @Chucklemonkey. LOL!
Raven28256
Yeah, the Circle Satyrs are entirely too big. Those are heavy warbeasts that go on a 50mm base. Did some browsing on Reaper, maybe this guy? Just remove the axe and make a few other modifications. http://www.reapermini.com/OnlineStore/woodcutter/sku-down/14361
Mergoth
Maybe an Enslaved Nephilim conversion? Does anyone know if it comes in one bit of several?

Thunder_God
Body is in one part, there are also two wings. Roaring Young Nephilim could be Lelu.
Chucklemonkey
Body is in one part, there are also two wings. Roaring Young Nephilim could be Lelu. Wait, there are wings? Not in the one I got and pretty sure there isn't meant to be as he has had his wings ripped off. Were you talking about the enslaved neph or the roaring one. the imp
If you're not totally married to lelu being bald, I think the new Dark Eldar Mandrakes would be worth looking at.
Mergoth
If you're not totally married to lelu being bald, I think the new Dark Eldar Mandrakes would be worth looking at. Hm, good idea. Maybe the lad with the sickle, and an Oni style horn would do the trick. I'll take a look at my buddies ones and see how they scale up. Jimp
I used a privateer press bloody bradigan. cut off bradigans head and hands, slapped on lelu's. tossed on the tail, did some minor sanding / green stuffing to make it look normal. and i'm happy with him. I like it. He looks suitably gimp-ish. Hmm, or I could greenstuff a blindfold and ball-gag onto another Lelu... decisions, decisions... Wasp
I will try a second Lelu next time. I choose this mini http://www.cadwallon.de/shop/images/35394a.jpg Horns and the tail would be made from green stuff (I hope so). And this modell for a second Lilitu http://www.morgenwelt.org/shop/images/21686l.jpg There I haven´t much to do, it always use a Chain I think with the right paintjob it could work... Mergoth
Just been browsing Reaper stuff (so much random stuff) and came across this chap. http://www.reapermini.com/FigureFinder#detail/14521 I think he's suitably burly and with a horn added to his forehead would make a good Oni style Lelu. Now to find a Geisha with a whip to serve as a lilitu...
Zwergenkrieger
Best advice I´ve seen in this thread is the use of PP Bloody Bradigan. You still have to do some major conversion, but I think it´s well doable. another thing I´m asking myself is why we have to look at a male lelu. I don´t know his background story, but as a modeller and gamer I feel free to use a female lelu. This way I can superbly imagine the use of GW Daemonettes of Slaanesh. http://www.games-workshop.com/gws/catalog/productDetail.jsp?catId=cat440043a&prodId=prod1170245 In fact, these are made more or less without a defined sex, meaning they aren´t supposed to be either male or female. Build one with a whip and another one that´s more melee oriented and you´ve got a pretty sweet pair of real twins. IMO these daeomon like creatures fit extremely well with factions name "neverborn". I think `l start this conversion soon. Another idea is the use of GW Witch Elves: http://www.games-workshop.com/gws/catalog/productDetail.jsp?catId=cat440050a&prodId=prod1490012 The left one makes for a good Lillith. The pose just shows how she lures someone in... Do some conversion on one of the others and you´ve got a sweet looking pair of twins. Though I favour the Daemonettes as a base.
