Werecat
SWEET color choices my friend. But if you value people's sanity, please hit the return key in between those image codes so it doesn't stretch out the forums
gunpowder saint
See!? I'm not the only one that thinks the Guild's Main Color to be white is a BAD ASS IDEA. Except the Ortega's... I don't think they'll look good in white lol
David.Hanold
I'm painting Justice white also. And Judge black. I thought it made more sense. White is a challenging color to get right with highlights and shades. I like the red glove on Justice. Asymmetrical is always a great idea to move the eye around. Can't have people stair at her chest! Because of all that white of course... ... why are you looking at me like that? Lord Shaper
I was going to go with white on mine but as I wasn't happy with my painting white I went with the Grey instead.
AvatarForm
OMG scroll riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight! Justice seems to be done in white now... but I did it before it was cool:eviltongu

Patrick
Very cool! Is that static grass on the bases? It seems fairly lengthy and looks really good!

Hope you don't mind but I may use some of your ideas for my Perdita crew Go for it. My Idea of Painting Lady J in white was taken from another member of my gaming club, I just took it and applied it to the rest of the crew. tewfik
White is a hard color to pull off... but you did an excellent job! Good stuff. Agreed! I also like the little spot of flare you added to the underside of the trenchcoat of the Death Marshal where the flame looks to be touching. fcwookiee
oh my! those models are fab! how did you get every detail??? teach me oh great one! xxXhayzelXxx Many thanks. The level of detail I mostly owe to a thin umber wash (made from Miniature Paint Umber) applied over the whole model after most of the base coat details have been painted. See post #15 to see pics of the peacekeeper right after the wash had dried. I use this as an extra guide for the highlights. I also use the tamiya weathering kits to add the final level of detail - rust, mud, soot etc
