  1. I turn to a local Facebook board game group when I find the desire to play an older game that has been sitting my closet. The latest was for Cadwallon: City of Thieves. I guess I feel guilty for them not being used. I blame 'Stuff of Legend' and 'Toy Story' for that... ...then again, I also find it hard to eat the chocolate rabbits on Easter (usually devour them only when I am too lazy to prep a meal and I am hungry, and it's usually stale by that point)

  9. Thank you for your support and interest for the game! I am very glad to read your enjoyment with PWU. It was one of the first projects I was allowed the chance to work on under Wyrd. I had a blast re-working the system and mechanics with Justin and Redd, and fell in love with the multitude of combinations provided by the 'Upgrade System'. Of course it would not have been possible to do any of this without a solid core game to work off of.
  10. You can add me. My tag is Curator#1160.
  11. Heh. I remember using something similar to that when my group of college friends needed a new recruit for DnD. Posted all over campus. "Tank, DPS, Controller LFM Healer. PST (Phone #)" Ah those days.
  12. These are awesome! White can be a super hard color to paint, and get to look right. You nailed it.
  13. The rules and pattern book for Puppet Wars Unstitched can now be found in the game's download section. Or at the following link. http://wyrd-games.net/community/files/file/59-puppet-wars-unstitched-rules-and-pattern-book/
  14. Exhaust Tokens count as an effect. All effects can stack, but certain ones like Powerful +/- benefit more than others. You can stack Exhaust Tokens and they are cleared all at once during Step 3 while resolving the Turn.
  15. This is correct. On the same note, the Powerful +1 effect will stack with each use of Pep Talk until the end of the turn. So, using Pep Talk two times during the same turn increases the effect to Powerful +2 until the end of the turn.
  16. Why did I not think of the spools as markers? Brilliant!
  17. I still need to paint mine up. These look very awesome. Puppet Wars becomes eye candy when it is completely painted, as is seen here with yours for example.
  18. The first thing I always notice when I see a new painter's first work, is how they wash and paint any wooden aspects of the models. My advice following that observation is to tell them, "now paint the other aspects of the model following that logic". To be a great painter is not so much about your attention to detail. In fact if you look at the pro paint jobs sold on ebay they lack the details. To achieve the expert look it just requires time and patience. And many many diluted layers. Having said that I can see that you know how to paint details. Save that talent for after you have all of your layers finalized. Great work for your first minis. I remember my first minis. You will be amazed how much cleaner minis look when you focus on the major sections and forego the details like belts and buckles. I learned this lesson later in my painting hobby, so many of my early models look "busy". My last advice is to step back every once in awhile (about 3 ft away from the minis), if they look good stop painting, because this is the average distance people will see your models from. Welcome to the community, have fun!
  19. Sweet color selection on the stitched together. I like the purple and green insides.
  20. Man the green daydream looks like it actually glows. I tried to do something similar to my sorrows but in the end decided to go with a black base that fades up to the sorrow. Kudos on the look.
  21. I saw these and was hoping I would find you here. I wanted to congratulate you. Can't say anything that hasn't already been said. I like the NMM look and the skin on the 'borg the most.
  22. I love the color choices. First thing that comes to mind is the varied color swatches you see in arcade fighters.
  23. Awesome work. I especially like the detailed faces and highlights for the pants.
