simhenk
I have been working on a gaming table started with an Ortega themed village. I like what everyone on here has done with the Western Theme, but I wanted to go more of a Zorro type village. It needs some more painting and added doors and windows (maybe a flag or a sign), but I wanted to share anyway: http://picasaweb.google.nl/henksukiuki/Malifaux#5510134470409192770 http://picasaweb.google.nl/henksukiuki/Malifaux#5510134479213870898 http://picasaweb.google.nl/henksukiuki/Malifaux#5510134489248913362 http://picasaweb.google.nl/henksukiuki/Malifaux#5510134500121197906 http://picasaweb.google.nl/henksukiuki/Malifaux#5510134510916967634 http://picasaweb.google.nl/henksukiuki/Malifaux#5510134519810853250 http://picasaweb.google.nl/henksukiuki/Malifaux#5510134525479890658 http://picasaweb.google.nl/henksukiuki/Malifaux#5510134534011882130 And a Shed: http://picasaweb.google.nl/henksukiuki/Malifaux#5475593750905766434
dragonwolf
Excellent work and excellent theme idea. Where did you get the bricks from?
goblyn13
Nicely done, and in book 2 they even give it a name: Latigo. An outpost at the edge of the Neverborn infested areas.

KiltedWolf
Nicely done, and I love the theme; everyone here is so creative! I guess I will wait for my copy of Book 2 to arrive before finalizing any plans on terrain and themes (right now was going for a desolate/abandoned mining outpost, and a wilderness steppe of shale and ruins). simhenk
Thanks for all the kind words. I was planning on making a winter theme first but then I got some ideas for this and I couldn't be stopped Where did you get the bricks from? When I was little, I had this kind of build a castle kit. You had to make the castle from paper and paste the bricks to the side. I never got around to build it, but I got a case full of these little bricks. (and some rooftiles aswell, but haven't found a use for it yet).

aka_hazard
An excellent take on the western theme. I love the water tower, think I'll have to steal that idea but convert it to a railroad water tower.

That's how I got the idea for the water tower in the first place
Rob_Jedi
Are they the CNC workshop MDF buildings? I did up a set of those as a Spanish pirate town a few years ago, may I recomend cutting in some areas of exposed brick and dirty up the bottom of the walls, it adds a lot to the look. I like your town entrance and water tower. Here is how my town turned out to see what I mean http://robjedi.blogspot.com/search/label/Pirate%20Town

I like your town entrance and water tower. They are inspired by those buildings, but I built them all by myself. Thay are mostly built from cardboard. I am going to dirty up the buildings, they are not finished yet. I have to paint the wood, add some barrels and sacks and base the plates they are on. It's long from finished but it is a playable game board.

TheOneWhoFell
Fantastic job! Wish I had some skill at terrain building... I'd love to have something like this.
