JoeB
Working on a Ramos crew, since plaids and brocades were popular in this era I thought I would try my hand at some plaid! HopelessHeretic
Love the pants! It is like ramos is going to go play some golf after he gets out of the office and to save time wore them under his lab coat. -Heretic

icemantis99
Gentlemen. I am the head of the MSU. I control all Soulstone manufacture and shipping. I control the strongest crime syndicate in Malifaux. I am the most powerful man in Malifaux. And I freaking love golf!

dgraz
I am always amazed at how it seems like everyone is some how painting a huge figure and the shrinking it how do you guys get such fine detail (frustrated) It's all in the technique. You have to break down the patterns into the simplest possible forms. Not sure how he did it, but for this pattern, I would have painted the pants blue, then gone over the blue with stripes to make the plaid. That would make it easier to make the squares. Good brushes also help with this kind of work, but you'll need to invest about $20 per brush (totally worth it - my Winsor & Newton Series 7 have lasted over a year and still going strong). OP: My first thought wasn't golf, it was pajama pants - I thought he had a Hugh Hefner look going on "Rasputina my darling, aren't you hot in that long sleeve shirt?" Edit - oops forgot to mention - Looks great!
JoeB
Yes, the plaid was first done by painting the pants dark blue, then the wide dark brown grid was laid over that. I then put a thin line of brown down the middle of the dark line, and put a touch of lighter blue in the middle of each square. Then finally put a dot of lighter brown wherever the two thin lines crossed. Now he just needs to find some scrap so he can make a set of clubs.
