Sholto
I took plenty of photos of our game last night and turned them into a slideshow, with descriptions of the action added as headlines. I cannot find any way to actually put the slideshow in this post (mods - any ideas?) so instead here is a link to it, on my blog:- http://incunabulum.co.uk/blog/2010/03/17/malifaux-slideshow-batrep-ortegas-vs-death-marshalls/ Edited March 17, 2010 by Sholto
Nathan Caroland
Nice, some good reviews on there as well, critique and accolades. As for slideshow - not something we've done on here before, best option is probably combining them together in a gif slideshow and having it go from there (sort of like an animated banner, etc). Think Ulead has a free application for that, or at the very least, trialware.
Angus Khan
Nice work on the slideshow... its certainly a unique way to give a batrep. Think Ulead has a free application for that, or at the very least, trialware. Photoscape (free downloadable photo editing software) has a "gif making" component as well, I believe. Sholto
Thanks for the suggestions, although the forum limit on GIF size would probably come into play. I tried a PDF but it's about 2.6mb. @Nathan - thanks for taking a look. I am a 40k player who has only recently flipped to Malifaux (groan!), so most of my blog is about that side of gaming, but the Malifaux content is growing as my gaming group and I are pretty enthusiastic about it. @Angus Khan - I have done a few slideshow batreps like this for 40k. I use Photobucket, which is fine provided you have a way to add captions to the photos before uploading them to PB. PB lets you add captions, but the interface is hopeless, slow and buggy.
