Slinkdawg
Random question that popped up in a game... For the Kidnap scheme, can you only kidnap your opponents master? It reads "Opposing Crew's Masters or Henchmen" but it is somewhat vague what qualifies as a henchman. So for example if I was playing Lilith versus the Ortegas, could I kidnap Nino? or does he not qualify as a henchman? Just curious.

We only played that one wrong for three months...
Slinkdawg
Gotcha. No I think many people have screwed this up... So I guess it's just a double dip on assassinate, unless you're in a brawl.
goblyn13
Kidnap is one of those forward thinking schemes, Henchman are planned for future expansion (as mentioned on pg 20 in the the callout on the bottom) so rather than have to errata the scheme to include henchman at a later date, it makes mention of them now. Much like how in Warmachine the Kodiak made mention of warbeast even though there were none.
n0signal
I personally think Kidnap is only suited to Lilith's Crew. I've never had any success with it using Zoraida's crew (I managed to kill an enemy master in melee once, but it was the Poison that killed them, so I didn't get Kidnap), and I imagine it might be quite hard for Pandora. Basically, every time I've taken Kidnap I've regretted it, so I don't bother anymore. *shrug*
goblyn13
Kade makes an Awesome kidnapper, melee 7 plus backstab can help get past all but Perdita and Lilith's defense. Just gotta get him in the right place, especially if you use Teddy to soften them up.
