Brushmistress
This was one of the first Wyrd pieces I ever acquired, and up until this week he just sat neglected on my table. I finally felt inspired to work on him - didn't really have this color scheme in mind when I started, but I think it fell into place. Comments & critiques welcome! MVM
That's horrible(y good). You should never even think of showing him(to anyone else). In fact just mail him to me and I'll make sure you never have to look at him again. I like the limited palette - and the non metalic metals are awsome. I don't have this model- are those swirls on his tails on the model- or are they freehand? First class. If you're in the iron painter I hope I don't get paired against you. If you're in the iron painter I hope I don't get paired against you. The swirls on his coattails are freehand - and yes, I'm in Iron Painter. :vb_devil: Unfortunately, we're going to be given themes, and I have a habit of ignoring them...:embarasse
MVM
Well I'd consider myself more of an aluminum painter, but I think of the competition as a training exercise. Luckily I think I do pretty well with themes. If we get paired up I'll do my best to give you a run for your money. MM

ork56
Stunning, or maybe a little better than that Great work, the bit that drew my eye the most was the shading on the trousers and cuffs. You didnt cut corners on the other parts of the mini even after the excellent freehand and candy stripe hat.
