monkeypox Posted October 21, 2009 Report Share Posted October 21, 2009 Hello all I heard about this game on the Warmachine forum and had to come and check it out. Took me less than half an hour of browsing here to decide to order the rule book, 2 fate decks and 2 faction packs. Reading the rules now and I think I love this game. I currently play WM / Hordes, Infinity, Grind (tomorrow when it is released) trying to get Battletech, Silent Death, AT-43 & Dark Age introduced to our group, and looking forward to VOR again (if it is ever finished) and maybe get back into some 40k but..... I think I have to scrap all those plans and focus on this game. I know my son will love it (he hates dice) and the flavor / fluff is really starting to appeal to me (though I will miss Warjacks) though it took awhile for it to grow on me. But when i saw the jokers artworks and Lilith, I had to have this game and fell for the artwork. While I really Like Matt Wilsons artwork in WM, I dont like most of the other artists, buit in Malifaux I have yet to see any artwork I don't like and would even say i like it as much as Matts. As you can see I have tried many, many, many games, but I have a feeling Malifaux will be my choice game, as I obviously have yet found a game to hold my interest for very long The no dice / fate deck mechanic really appeals to dice haters like my son & I. He rolls well but only remembers the bad rolls and forgets the good, while I have no good rolls to remember Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

My group usually plays at the Game Parlour down there by Potomac Mills friday nights and saturdays from noon/1ish til close.
