chaos45 Posted August 18, 2009 Report Share Posted August 18, 2009 Well despite my aversion to getting into yet another mini game this game with its new mechanics and awesome minis forced me to buy into it. The demo team did a good job of showing me and a friend the game after which we picked up 2 starters, rules, and a couple extra minis a piece....and since have ordered a good deal more minis to round out my quickly growing collection lol. One suggestion for the demo team is have some prepared lists of minis for people to buy when they ask what exactly might be good starter forces. The starters while a good suggestion arent all the same soul cost so with some of them you need to purchase 1-2 additional minis to hit the 25 mark without just loading up on soul stones, which would put some of the lists over the cap of 8. Just a marketing suggestion So far love the game, and even my wife played it and liked it enough to ask me to pick up a couple starters for her to mess with. And it's true, while we did try to approximately balance starters, due to the costs of metal, some came in a bit short of a 25ss starter game. Thanks for the input! Like Eric said, the costs of metal definitely came into play for what they put in the starters, but I'm sure we can come up with suggestions for some initial crews.
