Fallensaint Posted February 28, 2008 Report Posted February 28, 2008 Hmmmm well lets see if this works...I just started painting and this was just a test shape for the facepaint..Its painted over just a VERY basic drybrush just so I could estimate the contrast. I am going to be using this faceapint style for my other orcs if my other styles dont work out...But I think its sexy. Fallen... Quote
Hinton Posted February 28, 2008 Report Posted February 28, 2008 That's pretty cool. The face paint looks good and the skin has a very nice (to me, anyway) dirty and grimy look. Quote
Fallensaint Posted February 28, 2008 Author Report Posted February 28, 2008 Thanx man...yeah the only thing I accually "painted" was the red face paint...everything else was like a 10 min speedpaint so I could get an orc feel to it...I just started my next guy...accually here is my pic of him.....Errrrrrr... 1 min...and how do I upload a pic to the page and have it show up full size? Fallen... Quote
Fallensaint Posted February 28, 2008 Author Report Posted February 28, 2008 Here is my orcs that I will spend a bit of time on...this is my "welcome back" to painting squad. I just did the basic colors then applied 2 washes. I still have about 9-10 layers per color to go. Quote
Fallensaint Posted February 28, 2008 Author Report Posted February 28, 2008 The Gob was too much red so I got rid of that and made it black...adding orc griffiti to it...the balance looks alot better. Ill add more pics soon! Fallen... P.S. Thank you for your time and comments btw. Quote
Jabberwocky Posted February 28, 2008 Report Posted February 28, 2008 Diggin' the facepaint. Sweet! Quote
Nathan Caroland Posted February 28, 2008 Report Posted February 28, 2008 Like the face paint, gives them an even more feral (think that's the word I'm looking for) look which is always fun. Quote
Fallensaint Posted February 29, 2008 Author Report Posted February 29, 2008 Thanx man...Im doin alot more as we speak...Just on here between coats Fallen Quote
Fallensaint Posted March 1, 2008 Author Report Posted March 1, 2008 Well im starting to flesh out a few areas...most still are washed only. But as I keep adding layers he will look better. Quote
Fallensaint Posted March 1, 2008 Author Report Posted March 1, 2008 And I add a little bit of future floor wax to my ink to help it flowing into the cracks better... Fallen... Quote
