stefanhws
These two minis are sculpted from Tom Meier who is one of the best miniature sculptures i know. He created these two for Dark Sword Miniatures in 28mm scale based on a the beautiful picture from my favourite fantasy painter Keith Parkinson (see below). I hope you like my paintjob because i had a lot of fun to paint all the details. lol Feel free to comment and if you like vote for the minis on CMON http://www.coolminiornot.com/171791 http://www.coolminiornot.com/171792 Here the outstanding picture from Keith. matty1001
Yummy! Fantastic models! My one crit would be that the gold NMM on the axe isn't very convincing. It looks great on the filligree though. Just seems the larger areas are to yellow, and lack hotspots. Love the overall blue tint, really helps tie everything together. green stuff
Great work! I love the base and the over all paint job. My only regret, even though I know it would have taken more time, is that you didn't do flames like on the illustration. That would have been grand. But still good job . stubbdog
Everything about your paintjob looks superb. My only suggestion is actually related to the wood base. Needs to be stained or something. It's color currently clashes with the piece and is kinda distracting.
