Sergeant_Crunch
Do your Hot Wheels need machine guns and missile launchers? Of course they do! Stan Johansen Miniatures has two accessory kits to turn your Hot Wheels into rolling death machines. These are a part of thier 20mm Road Warrior line. Here's a couple after conversion:
Nathan Caroland
That's actually kind of fun looking. Would be great for the old game 'Car Wars'.
Sergeant_Crunch
Yeah, I'm sure my boys would love it too.

supervike
I thought TESTORS was bringing back some sort of Car Wars thingy? Nope...on 2nd check it was slightly larger cars (although still cool looking) http://www.testors.com/catalog_item.asp?itemNbr=2404 TAKE TWO: In my day we converted hot wheels the old fashioned way!! With hammers and firecrackers...LOL
vincegamer
the testors thing is a much larger scale, but hotwheels are a much larger scale than the original Car Wars. In that, the cars were only 1 inch long. Someone did later produce little 1" mini cars for the game but I don't know who, and the detail was pretty slight. supervike
I always thought it would be an ingenious gaming system that incorported different scales into the game....For instance, once scale when the action is for skirmish size, convert the scale to 'hot wheel' size for car chases, and then even smaller for epic battles....all within the same core system. vincegamer
Well, there's an old Boardgame called Titan in which your armies move around a weird board but when they actually encounter each other you pull out yet another board and the individual army members and fight a little battle, then the winner goes back on the big board. There's no reason you couldn't do as you say, even with war games, and when a leader challenges another use some complex maneuver duel system like Gladiator or Lost Worlds. Patrick
Brilliant! I played GW's Dark Furture board game a couple of times and the most fun for me was customizing the cars. Makes me want to bust out my Mel Gibson DVDs!
