  1. I've got some of their tanks ordered and en route, just waiting for them to make their way through the mail system. I'll post a review when I get around to working on them.
  2. Some of these are pretty cool some aren't. They all look like they'd give me fit trying to paint them though.
  3. Look at you. You don't even have a nametag. How about you just lay down now and save us both the trouble.
  4. I like Gene Van Horne's female minis, they've got a certain...cute I guess, quality. I just wish this one had a slightly different angle on the head pose.
  5. The elves, while I can appreciate the mastery of the sculpting, do nothing for me. The swordsman is a good model in that he is obviously of higher quality than similar models by other producer but is generic enough to be used with anything from RPG to swapping out with your favorite fantasy/medieval skirmish game.
  6. The other thing to keep in mind with this line, for those unfamiliar, is that they are for 6mm sci-fi. The only problem I have with this faction from DRM is that most of their vehicles make me think of flying scissors.
  7. I'm still PO'd that they chose the Marines over the US Army, and didn't get the uniforms right.
  8. I'm starting to think Clair's dad is the one blocking powers and not the Haitian. Becuase when they captured Sylar, Eden was still able to use her power of suggestion, which of course is easily explainable as the Haitian being able to selective cancel powers, but I think it's more of a field effect, a dead zone for superpowers that's not really controlled. This would explain why dad thought he could protect her from Sylar. Of course though that wouldn't have allowed Nathan to escape when dad had captured him in Vegas. Maybe the technology route is the way for cancelling superpowers. Regarding the Haitian, I'm starting to think that he may be taking orders from dad's bosses. We know that dad answers to somebody becuase he wasn't allowed to kill Sylar. Either that or he's flat out ignoring dad becuase he thinks Clair should know about her power. The Haitian has most likely seen Isaak's paintings and knows that her power is needed. Which most likely ties into the whole "Save the Cheerleader" bit. She's going to be needed in New York. My guess is to save Peter after he goes critical. I find the whole Nikki/Jessica interesting as a co-worker and I are obsessed with figuring them out, what causes the switch, who's going to end up in control. Could care less about the whole DL/Nikki domestic dispute other than seeing him foil her latest attempt by phasing out.
  9. Or somebody like me who has umpteen bajillion half completed terrain projects already. I've come to the conclusion that I'm better off buying something that just needs a little paint rather than collecting bitz and making it.
  10. Last nightmare I had involved me being on assignment to South Korea...again.
  11. When they announced when the new episodes would start againt I immediately went into DT convulsions. I'm mostly better now, but not quite.
  12. The toy soldiers look kinda neat. Doubt I'll ever buy them, but kinda neat.
  13. I had high hopes for this one, being in the Army and all. Paintjob aside (which is all wrong if you're looking for realism, not sure who did this one) this has several discrepancies. I'm not normally one to pick a model apart for accuracy, but this one strikes close to home. Parts of the model suggest the newer ACU uniform while others suggest the BDU or DCU uniforms, which we don't wear anymore. The top of the body armor suggests the IBA protective vest while the bottom suggests the older flak jacket, which while still in the inventory isn't used in combat zones anymore in preference to the IBA. The face from this angle just doesn't look right, maybe it's just a bad angle. The top part of the boots are too large unless this guy has massive calves, but the legs just seem disproportionate in general. The bootlaces...ugh...no soldier, I say again, no soldier ever wears their bootlaces hanging out like that. It's in the regulation that bootlaces be tucked into the boot. It's a safety thing so they don't get caught on things. The M4 seems to be sculpted well enough. I like pretty much most of Reaper's sculpts but this one leaves me disappointed. Regarding the scale and this line, the Master Series line are intended as display pieces not as gaming pieces. This makes this sculpt that much more disappointing. I think that most of the sculptors they have traditionally used aren't quite used to 54mm.
  14. Yes, they are getting annoyingly good at leaving us in suspense. I'm left wondering if Sylar is dead or if daddy is going to play with him a little bit before burying him somewhere in west Texas. He may escape (I don't think he's dead), but I think daddy's gonna have some fun with him for endangering Clair. I think Hiro is going to be terribly upset that he missed out on saving Clair. Went back to the website and paused on the list on names on Mohinder's computer. Quite a few folks we haven't met yet, wonder if we will. A number of them already dead as well. I took a screenshot, maybe I can post the names later if I have the time. I'm starting to think Peter would wear spandex if he was given the option. He's really running with the whole super-hero bit, and it's going to get him into trouble one of these days. I have no doubts that Nathan will get him out of jail as it's too potentially damaging to his campaign, but Peter's going to get an earful when Nathan catches up to him. One thing Peter does need to figure out how to do is to use the powers of those he's up against if he's going to continue in this line of work. Sylar is a telekinetic and that could have been quite useful. Of course that begs the question as to just how close Peter needs to be to mimic powers. On Nathan becoming a villian, I doubt it. I think he's going to try to stick his head in the sand at every opportunity. I'm guessing that he will be elected and at some point when the issue becomes public knowledge he will vote for some bill that has some kind of negative impact against homo sapiens superior or whatever you want to call those with powers. I'm wondering if DL bought the farm or not. He has the ability to let the bullet pass through him, but he'd have to know it's coming and bullets travel pretty quickly. I guess it's immaterial (ha! get it!) until we find out more. About the whole save the cheerleader save the world bit. It's fairly obvious that the mere act of saving her from Sylar didn't stop NYC from going up in flames. She, or her power, are going to be needed to stop it though, that why she needed to be saved.
