Or as Wraithshadow put it: The writeup of the examples makes me more than a little leery, if only because it sounds way too complex for a casual game. "Okay, I have three plasmatron cannons, which are 4/1, so I get twelve dice that I can reroll once each, and I need a 4+, except that I'm firing at size 4 targets, behind cover, with the distance to target being more than 10 times the range for the weapons, and they've failed a morale check, with two of them having already taken wounds..."
