green stuff
I've got a long run project in mind and have started looking up material to do it. One thing I'm having trouble finding is how to sculpt fluffy and curly hair. I haven't found any tutorials on the subject, but it would be great if somebody could point out a mini that has such hair. I think I can figure out the technique from that. Thanks in advance .
Ritual
That's a bit tricky, I'd think! I've seen some minis with 'fluffy' hair and most of them look like crap. Look at the Darksword site, they might have some (but I'm quite sure I've seen crappy examples there).
Nathan Caroland
Fluffy in what way? Like bouncy-curl-perm style hair or afro style hair?
green stuff
I went on the Darksword site and found some curly hair minis but it's still too flat for what I'm thinking. @Nathan : like bouncy-curl-perm style hair without the perm effect. More natural .
Nathan Caroland
Hrmmm, I would say look at some of the Andrea miniatures (think those are them) and the larger scale models of the chicks mostly undressed and in bubble baths or maid uniforms, etc. Subject matter might be questionable but you should get some good ideas there about hair in general.
green stuff
I went to check Andreas' catalog, but finally remembered a mini that fits what I'm looking for : Thanks for everybody's help .
