green stuff
Thomas Barse sculpted for Durandal this second version of his Queen of Crime : It's 54mm scale and should soon be available.
Ritual
I like this even better than his first version! Have you got a link to the manufacturer?
green stuff
Not yet. The picture was seen on a newsletter apparently. But I'll be sure to post it when the link is available .
Celtic Lilly
Very pretty, and stylish. Don't like the filigree on the dress though, would prefer to have that as freehand canvas.
james9487
I agree about the filigree. The head is just beautiful and I love the right arm with that awesome armor.
Ritual
I bet you could sand the filigree down if you don't want it there.
james9487
Yea, and little things like aren't going to make it or break it. The whole look and feel to this one is excellent. I really love this one and would be interested in buying it.
Art-de-Vivre
it seems very close to the 28mm LE Fenryll mini (Shirvae) by the same sculptor. Both minis are very nice, but I would like to see them side by side unpainted.. Cheers
vincegamer
love the face and hat. Hate the skirt (looks like it's made of lead).
green stuff
For those who are not familiar with this model, this is the original version : http://www.coolminiornot.com/71929 And this is the version Cyril sculpted for the Fenryll Tsunami box : http://www.coolminiornot.com/90584
green stuff
A little bit of news from Durendal : *) She'll be sold at 22€ in France; *) She's cast in resin; *) She comes with a little booklet on her background (her name is Akitsuki); *) In the booklet there are 2 painting guides. One by Thomas Barse, and one by Jean-Pierre Dutieul (I think he's well known in the historic field); *) She should be soon available, but Durendal doesn't say when and they still haven't put her up on their site. vincegamer
Hmm. I like the original much better.
green stuff
I like the original much better. Me too. I thought the pose was much more noble. But at least this one has been cast. I didn't like the face of the 28mm version, it looked too angry for my taste.
Spacemunkie
!!!!!! That's bloody marvelous that is. Thomas Barse is one of my favourite painters and I loved the original mini he did, but this is even better. Quality.
Ritual
I think I must have this one when it's released!
EricJ
I like elements of both, although never really the 28mm release. I don't think i'll ever paint one, but it is fun to watch, and gives me ideas for style for a few other things

Ritual
I looked at that site yesterday, but it seems it's only in French so I couldn't find out how much shipping is. Could you help me, Cédric?
green stuff
In their general selling conditions they say that shipping cost €8 in France (free above €100) and for other countries it depends on the post rates of those countries. I'll try to go to a LGS that does historic size minis this week-end and see if they are thinking of getting her; they had the elf and orc from Andrea's warlord series, and the Narnia series, so I figure that this could interest them.
