The event will be Saturday 20th May at the Wig & Pen Pub. 3 Rounds Fixed Faction Tickets are £15 each. Prize support has been confirmed. With it being Oxford city centre, I would recommend park and ride to save some money as city centre parking is expensive. The bus station is a minute walk down the road from the venue, train station about 5 to 10 minutes depending on walking speed. Park and ride buses stop very close to the venue as well. Would not recommend using Sea court park and ride as the road into Oxford from there will be shut when the tournament is on. I will be updating this closer to the time to ensure the easiest timings and travel for as many as possible Decision has been made to ban some interactions and a few Masters for this event. Whilst this may not happen when someone coming uses them. I don't want to run the risk of any new players or even existing ones having a bad experience at this tournament. I have an extendable tripod and equipment so would need no more extra space, I would always ask permission of my opponent first although the camera is faced at the board (its all about the game) however I may pick up other voices so if anyone attending is uncomftable(sp) please let me know.
