Friendly model question

Greetings,

I have had a question regarding friendly models. Have had this question for a while and would like an answer to it. While reading certain abilities and actions, they say "friendly model." Others state "other friendly model." For the ones that state "friendly models," this is where the confusion is. The question is if a model's ability says "friendly model," does that model gain that benefit as a "friendly model?" For example, Toni Ironsides, Union President has 2 abilities that have this wording. The first is "Momentum of a Movement: When this model Activates, it gains an Adrenaline Token for every three (rounded up) friendly M&SU models in play." Does Toni count as a friendly model herself? The other is "Stand Together: Friendly M&SU models within Aura 1 of a friendly Scheme Marker are treated as having less than half their maximum Health for the purposes of friendly effects." If Toni is within Aura 1 of a friendly scheme marker, does she gain that benefit, especially when Mouse uses Fight for the Union, which will give Toni an extra Adrenaline Token if she has half her maximum health or less?

I would say yes she counts for them both ( and also for labor contract.) 

If an ability refers to other friendly models, it typically does not count the model with the ability, but if it just refers to friendly models, then the model with ability is a friendly model so would count.

The important point is:  A model is friendly with itself because it’s on the same crew.

So a model with a “friendly models in (aura) X” includes itself, and most cases of “other friendly” you’ll see are to exclude the generating model.
