Rufess
Had a discussion with friends about the next errata, and suddenly came up a reworking idea for Mecha-Mah so would like to share here. Disclaimer: It is a crazy idea and by no mean a well-balanced design. So please do not take it seriously. So the new Mecha-Mah is: Df 5/Wp 5/Mv 5/Sz 3 12 Health Has no Action and only one Ability: Quote Build it on the Fly: After deployment, attaches 2 Arm Part Upgrades, a Body Part Upgrade and a Legs Part Upgrade to this model And has access to the following Upgrades Arm Part Upgrades: Quote Driller: Grants Mine Soulstone and Over-Sized Drill Quote Open Arm: Grants Enhanced Fist and Toss Quote Shield: Grants Armor +1, Shield Slam, and Shield Generator Quote Fishing Harpoon: Grants Harpoon Gun and Reel In Quote Flamethrower: Grants Flamethrower and Light it Up Body Part Upgrades: Quote Reactive Armor: Grants Armor +1, and an Ability to discard this Upgrade to prevent all damage from an Attack Quote Power Generator: Grants Power Converter and Dynamic Generator Quote Open Cockpit: Grants Health -6, Scamper and Demise(Jump Out before Blown Up): Summons Mah Tucket with Slow and deals 6 irreducible damage to her Legs Part Upgrades: Quote Biped Legs: Grants Df +1 and Diving Charge Quote Spider Legs: Grants Mv +1 and All-Terrain Quote Caterpillar Track: Grants Unimpeded, Trample and Make Way Please let me know how do you feel about it.😉 1 2
Math Mathonwy
I very much like the idea. One problem that designs like these often have is that the "best build" is found and then there isn't much choice anymore so care should be taken to make the parts in such a way that the best configuration really depends on the strat and terrain and opponent and such. I do like that you build her only after seeing the opposing crew and deployment. I could also see that she might be a bit frustrating to play against as there's bound to be situations where the opponent is surprised by an ability or lack of one on her. But yeah, definitely a fun idea! A balancing nightmare of course but definitely a unique and fun take and fits the theme. Good stuff, thanks for sharing!
