Shock & Awe
Question for modelers who likely have more experience with this stuff than I do. I used Vallejo Still Water to add water effects to some of my bases a year and a half ago, and after the initial drying they came out looking great. I took the models out of storage the other day (they've been in air tight cases) and all my still water has gone completely cloudy to the point where it doesn't look like water anymore (or blood...) Does that stuff need a top coat? How do I keep it from going opaque? I've looked around for guides and they don't top it with anything that I can see... but the effect is totally gone now. And, to reiterate, after it dried initially it looked perfect. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Butch
I have no experience with still water. But if the cloudyness is only on the surface you can probably fix it with a coat of varnish.
