This may sound really pedantic, but in M3E, if you flip a card and add that number to a stat, that's a duel, not a flip. When a model is attacked, and it's the attacker's stat vs. your Df or Wp, that's an opposed duel with two duels (and two duel totals). The result of all of that is the good news: Yes, you can use Power Converter to get a positive flip when you're attacked.
