Can a model reduce its own Burning?

Or is your only option to have another model perform an assist?

There's no mention of the Burning condition going up or down on its own.

Some actions can reduce or remove burning, but no it doesn't disappear by itself.

Assist is available to all models. There's plenty of models with condition removal actions. I suggest you look up what those are in your faction(s) of choice.

Nope. Assist specifically says as Nico quoted, "other friendly". Which means if you're alone, and don't have built in Condition removal, you're pretty well screwed.

Yep, it sticks. There's no universal rule on how a condition works. Each condition says how it itself works.
