Dnic
Hej i have two questions about invested characters 1: Any of your starting gear can be integrated into your person. Do the item have to physically fit into your body? 2: Your Defense Aspect is fixed and is not adjusted by your Evade Skill. Do you lower your DF, if you get more amour? Thanks

Do the item have to physically fit into your body? From a practical stand point, if the gear is bigger than the Invested, then it's going to be more a matter of integrating the Invested into the starting equipment. During character creation, I'd make a player choose a Chassis size big enough to incorporate all of the equipment they're trying to add. But if you can come up with reasonable explanations for things like slide out braces, and collapsable parts, that makes some things more reasonable. And "reasonable" could include stuff like being a steampunk Megatron transforming from robot to gun mode. 1 hour ago, Dnic said: 2: Your Defense Aspect is fixed and is not adjusted by your Evade Skill. Do you lower your DF, if you get more amour? Based on what Mason posted in the FAQ thread: probably not. But keep in mind that not all of the ways a player normally gains Armor apply to Invested. Edit: On second thought, I think that post is only really relevant if you're trying to reverse engineer the Invested starting profiles and "get back" Def points. Gaining armor later should be subject to the core rulebook mechanics (noting the provisions where an Invested won't gain Armor where a non-Invested would) to change the character's current Def if it gained armor points. Presumably the point of difference between the Sz1 chassis after it gains a point of armor and the Sz2 chassis is due to being small.
