The Governor-General
So, I love the Santana Ortega model, but I cannot ever see a time when I'd ever want to take any version of Santiago. Furthermore, Perdita's M2e sculpt is okay, but very straightforward, and while I like her alternate smoke blowing sculpt, her pose makes her look awkward mid game, since she's facing a weird direction. If I can use Santana as Perdita, I get to use a cool model for a cool master, but since it is already legally a different model... I don't know. I know proxies are usually pretty official, and tournament rules are pretty firm (at least as firm as the TO), but does anyone see a glaring problem with using Santana as Perdita? DonCheadle
I wouldn't mind, for tournament purposes you might just need to convert it up a little. Alternatively just ask your opponent pre-deployment if it's alright with them, and if you do run into a pedant, use the regular model. Myyrä
There's also two other sculpts for Perdita. I doubt there's really a real danger of confusion there. It's usually pretty easy for the opponent to remember which master they are playing against, and if Santana is the only female gunslinger on the field then... RustAndTheCity
You could do some minor conversions to add some of the regular Perdita parts to Santana. It would also be good to have a Perdita variant available if an opponent was confused. This is what I do with my Francisco conversion. So far no one has wanted the normal model. The Governor-General
Sounds great. Thanks for the consensus, folks. And Rust, I'm thankful to have an alt Franc, since "Cleaver Franc" just doesn't say "dueling sword" to me.
