Rurouni Benshin
Hi everyone,So my question is how Mei Feng's immunity to Paralysis correlates to her failing Horror Duels. Take the following situation:- Mei Feng attacks Seamus, which triggers the Horror Duel- Mei Feng fails the Horror Duel, but because she's immune to Paralysis, she ignores the condition.Does Mei Feng still get to attack Seamus? Would she have to take another Horror Duel to be able to hit him? Is Seamus even a legal target for her since she failed the Horror Duel? Thanks for your help, everyone! Shadowfane
Yes, she still gets to attack him. She's still have to take a second horror duel for her 2nd attack (because she failed the first one) -- not that it'd make a difference, since she ignores the paralyse anyway. And yes, Seamus is still a legal target for her - the only consequence to failing a horror duel is paralyse, which she ignores. Having said that, Seamus would still heal 2 each time she failed, because his healing is dependant on people failing horror duels.
Arli
It is worth noting that a Hanged model next to Seamus would remove her immunity.
Rurouni Benshin
Ok, so would she lose an AP for having failed the first HD? Or does she get to swing?I understand having to take the HD again since she didn't pass it the first time around, but if I'm understanding the rule, even if she fails the HD, she can still attack (provided there isn't a Hanged nearby). tomjoad
No; as stated, being immune to Paralyzed means that failing a horror duel has no effect on her. She has to take the duel no matter what, but she, herself, will not care about the result.
Shadowfane
It is worth noting that a Hanged model next to Seamus would remove her immunity. Now, I'm no resser expert, but doesn't the Hanged only remove immunity to Horror? In which case, having immunity to paralysed would mean it cares about the Hanged aura not at all....
decker_cky
It would remove the immunity gained from passing a horror duel, meaning Seamus could heal each attack. Mei isn't getting paralyzed regardless.
Arli
My mistake. I thought the Hanged removed all immunities to horror/paralyzed.
Rurouni Benshin
I hadn't actually thought to check the Hanged ether, but that seems to make more sense now. Thanks for the help, everyone!
