Kapten Vendetta
'Ello all, I would like some tips for swamp themed bases for my future Gremlins. I know of Wyrds' and Black Cat, but I'm sure there are a ton of manufacturers out there. After sculpting my own cobblestone bases for 80+ miniaturess, I'm looking forward to some pre-made ones... Dumb Luck
Tiny Worlds have some good ones. I swear the ones by MDP Bases (from Firestorm Games).
Rwwin
I'm using "Blasted Wasteland" bases from secret weapon miniatures. They've got a sunken center so you can add in water effects. Secret Weapons Blasted Wasteland Link Swamp base video tutorial I've got the bases all lined up. Now if I could only get those $*#&@%# Gremlins painted. Uruk
Have a look here, maybe there's something useful http://shop.microartstudio.com/battle-bases-c-3.html
Omenbringer
I would recommend just making your own instead of purchasing anything that is cast. It really isn't that difficult and you'll end up with something that is far more realistic. You can either create your own by sealing the bottom of a standard base (blister plastic is great for this) and then cutting out the top of the base or you can purchase the deep base blanks from Secret Weapons site mentioned above (these are great and made for water effects). Terrainthralls also have a great toot on how to build them if you go this route.
Vidd
I agree with Omenbringer. I ended up making my own after buying two different sets and finding that they weren't exactly 30mm. One set was a bit smaller, the other was a bit bigger. I'm not sure if most people would care but I did.
